In 2018, the team plans to make the leap into the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, the premier series in NASCAR. Obaika Racing plans to run select races in the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series during the remainder of 2018, and will compete full-time in both series in 2019.
